Professional info
The scope of my interest covers different aspects of plant biodiversity and plant geography such as natural floras (comparative floristics), vegetation structure and classification (i.e. aquatic, wetland, tall-herb grasslands and boreal forests), questions of vegetation history (e.g. historical phytogeography and phylogeography). In addition, I have extensive experience in Herbarium work, since I was a curator of the V.I. Smirnov herbarium at Department of Botany in Irkutsk State University (IRKU) for 20 years.
